Claimant's opinion: Personnel referred me to a counselor when I requested a referral for a psychiatrist. There was no follow-up after they referred me to Psychiatric Consultants-I found out a month and 1/2 later that I even had a referral, they never contacted me about the referral. Psychiatric Consultants never called me because they didn't accept my insurance. The person in charge of the referral, didn't check that they would accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Claimant's opinion: Total Care must be more diligent in referrals, follow-up, etc. I had to go to an outpatient program for depression, because of problems from the symptoms, no medication, prolonged time without treatment, it was necessary for an ambulance to be summoned, and I had two hospital stays to pay for: Harris Methodist Southwest and Baylor All Saints.
Claimant's opinion: Total Care's lack of prompt and propter referral, lack of diligence in the referral process, lack of professional care caused my lack of wages (missed over 1/2 the year at my job, emotional duress at lack of help, diagnosis, and prompt medical treatment, monetary loss because of medical bills, unreliable as an employee because of my absenteeism due to medical problems (a supervisor made this statement) has wrecked all sorts ot havoc healthwise, moetarially, and mentally.
Claimant's opinion: See above statements.
Claimant's opinion: A doctor said that he wasn't worried - made this statement when he walked out of the treatment room, I was having trouble breathing/pressure in my chest, I thought I was having a heart attack or that I had walking pnuemonia because to difficulty breathing.... wow, I was very scared, worried, frightened at the pain in my chest, he was more concerned that he and the nurse got different results in my heart rate.... well, I was worried. I called back later, because my glands were still swollen and uncomfortable, the person on the phone said that he didn't think it was an upper respirtatory problem, and he thought I should get a second opinion - did I tell you that he didn't even look in my throat or in my ears? When he touched under my ears i said "ouch." If I got a second opinion, my insurance wouldn't cover it, I would've had to go to the emergence room. No, he definitely, wasn't worried, concerned, or even cared about my pain or discomfort.

PeopleClaim is a new way to resolve disputes online without lawyers or mediators. By inviting suggestions from the public, disputing parties get ideas that can lead to settlement – and the person(s) who contributed them can win a reward.
Here's what to do: Read the case (left side of page). Then go to the bottom of the page and enter your suggestion in the space provided. Click the Solution button.
Your suggestion will be sent to both parties and will post on the claim. If the two sides agree to settle based on your suggestion, you're eligible to win. Note: Cash rewards may be split among more than one person if settlement depends on ideas from more than one contributor. If you have a claim of your own to resolve, click here.
You can submit up to three solutions / rebuttal, you would like to settle or to be voted on.
