Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My contract with Today's Child Communications out lined 5 targets.
1.National contest 5000 entires and $25.00 for a chance to have your child on the cover of the magazine? Contest capital was insufficient to expect requested results.
2.Campaign footprints in 3 major cities. This Target was Accomplished.
3.3 Casting Calls. This Target was accomplished. (New York/ Baltimore/ Washington DC) Michelle Drayton's magazine readership confirmed these were the most desirable cities to present.
4. A minimum of 2 Sponsors. This was accomplished. Macy's Inc, Freddie Mac, Strickland Securities, Joe Manns Throphys, The Mall at Prince George marketing and The Mall at Security Square Mall Management.
5. Culmination of Campaign in a Holiday Fashion Show. Task Accomplished. Macy's New York (Brookyn) had confirmed to host the magazine casting call and present a holiday show in partnership with Today's Child Magazine. I have company executives from all mentioned above willing to confirm my results stated above. I believe Today's Child Magazine was solely interested in my database of contacts received while employed by Macy's Inc as the Vice President of Supplier Diversity. The goal I believe was that I would get former partners to invest /sponsor/ run ads in Today's Child Communications online and magazine publication. After all Today's Child is Minority and women owned publication. While I was only under contract for 4 months May 2010 - Aug 2010, early on I could see the magazine did not have adequate capital or the willingness to take the neccessary risk to achieve at a high level their desired targets/goals."

  • I know Cheryl Monroe from Macys and I must say she is very fake, dramatic, not authentic or genuine; a sham, money hungry. I think posting this is stupid and shows she is jealous of Ms. Drayton, who has accomplish so much in her life... here is Ms. Drayton resume. Cheryl is very fake and two-faced person she can not be trusted this is one of the main reasons why she resign from Macy’s before they fire her, she double cross so many people at Macy’s. Cheryl has no loyalty, she likes to use and manipulate people for her needs. We were so glad when she left Marcy’s. I heard her now work some low position at Bob’s furniture as a store manager. Plus Cheryl drop out of college when she got Prego, she never graduated from Towson University. Ms. Drayton holds many degrees from prestigious university. Cheryl does not care about the black community she will sell you out in a heart beat to promote herself.
