Claimant says:
"I lived at McKinney Orchid Apartments from 2013 to 2014. I was very happy there, as a senior, I felt safe, made friends but as my lease was coming to an end I received a Certified letter from McKinney Orchard that my lease would not be renewed. their reasoning for this was, "she is not happy here." I tried to talk to my manager and to her boss, Richard Thome at Texoma Management Co. I was told someone called Mr. Thome, leaving no mane or phone number. This call was about poison oak and ivy on the property. Upon listening to the message, my manager said it was my voice on the message. I am not the kind of person who would make a call and not state my name, address or phone number. I was forced to move and now live in a place where I do not feel safe. I have not made any friends since living here and am trying to find another dwelling, which is very hard to do. I have been stressed, depressed, in the hospital because I was forced to move from what I considered my home. If you go to Apartment Reviews.com and look up the apartment complex you will see there are several complaints listed against McKiney Orchid. their address is 2700 N. Brook Drive, McKinney 75070. I feel this should be a matter of public record."
