Claimant says:
"Tabitha requested money from me in order to cover the cost for gas so that she could return home one night. She stated to me that her grandfather had just passed away and that she had drove to see him at the hospital but ran out of money for gas and became stranded. I sent her money via CashApp out of pity because of how moved by her story I was. She promised me in writing, via text messages, that she would pay me back the following day. That never happened. Instead she said that her check could not be cleared by the bank because she “accidentally” chose the standard transfer option instead of instantly transferring funds. She then told me that she’s need additional funds to get the check to clear in a timely fashion and then once I sent it to her, as well as for some medicine, she would pay me back right away. That again, never happened. I try to call her to make contact but she has started evading me. Not I am concerned and feel that I have been used. I have ample evidence of the dialogue we shared via text messages as well as the CashApp invoices."
