Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I purchased a Cell phone for $150.00 in cash, from a T-Mobile Store on Utica Ave., last March 2015. This was a no - contract service for $50.00 per month. I was charged an extra $10.00 for insurance on the phone plus tax. On March 24, 2016 I changed my service from T-Mobile to Metro PC phone Company. I didn't pay my April bill to T-Mobile because the Metro PC cashier told me the two Companies have merged therefore, its just a continuation of the payments. However, T-Mobile did mailed me a letter claiming I owe for the month of April and a balance for the phone. They are claiming that I had no insurance for the phone and I was on a monthly installment plan to payoff the $150.00 for the phone. The original bill doesn't even specify how much money was supposed to be paid on a monthly bases for the installation of the phone. So I've refused to pay the extra bill T-Mobile is charging me because I already paid them in cash. I have the original receipt, which falsely stated that I'm on a payment plan. I was paying over $75.00 per month for a year. If I didn't change company, T-Mobile would've still be collecting extra money from me. From their own fraudulent claim, I've over $250.00 for the phone. Thank you."
