Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"two years ago i set up 4 lines with Sprint. and  at the set up in the store I was given false info on the contract and was told we had unlimted everything. when i received my first bill i realized it wasnt what we were told. I  went into to the store to cancel my contract cause i was lied too.  I was told they wouldnt let me cancel . i contacted better business buro and a manager contacted  me ane said they would give me a credit on my account for  our troubles and not being able to get out of the contract.  . I brought in my phone bill to the store 3 times to get my contract paid off and now i just found out by cheching my credit that i owe my contract cost owed which Sprint should of paid to Verizon. I would like sprint to pay verizon since I have gave sprint  2 years of prompt payments and being a good customer and they should have paid my contract off at the beginning which i was told would happen."

My suggestion is that the "Sprint" company should make up for their error in not fully explaining bottom line detailed information, I think they should honor your request or have all monies paid switched over to an option of 2 lines instead of 4. More...

  • First of all I believe you should have not gone by what you were told only, Myself as a consumer would have taken a little bit of time to read all the small print on the information pamphlets and or information guidelines. many a times the retailer will go as far as to promise unlimited and extras in order to make a sale, if you were a bit shocked , as a customer I would have said may I speak to a manager to have this confirmed, sometimes theres a saying that says this sounds way too good of an offer to be true, then you go home, make use of your phones, then you get your first bill, and there you see the actual cost of everything you did not bargain for. I woud think that as an adult, you woud have taken the time to read and understand before making a decision and signed for something you were not totally understanding, but were to anxious to try out, so I think you were "at Fault" for rushing into using the unlimited extras than really having taken the time to understand what you were getting into.  I also believe that the seller in your presence should have taken a little bit of his/her time to show you small print for your best understanding, and that way you would have known ahead of time what you were getting yourself into beforehand. so my suggestion is that the "Sprint" company should make up for their error in not fully explaining bottom line detailed information, sometimes they are  in such a hurry to make a sale that they dont care how they do it, their top priority is to make a sale , period. I think they should honor your request or have all monies paid switched over to not all four lines but to at least 2 ines for what you have covered. Thats what I believe and what I suggest so that both parties be happy..........then maybe after 3 months of using their services, switch over to Verizon its the best service I have ever encountered.
