Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I complained to BBB (Better Business Bureau) about Sovereign Bank trying to cash on an unjustifiable fees Sovereign was trying to collect from me. BBB advised Sovereign to write a letter on my behalf, nullifying the fees. Sovereign then turns around and reports me to the credit bureau and vindictively logs a 'tardy payment' complain. This after Sovereign admitted the fee was unjustified.

Checking my credit report after an application for credit at Sears was declined, I discovered Sovereign's backhanded complain had not only lower my rating credit scores but only maliciously left a blemish on my credit record.

I wrote to the credit agencies reporting on my credit worthiness but I'm afraid this isn't going to be enough.

Sincerely yours

Emilio."

What Claimant Wants Hide
Message from Claimant: I have a Letter from Sovereign where it clearly says it was Sovereign's mistake trying to charge an unjustified fee. I also have my bank's records indicating and documenting pay outs to Sovereign for mortgage due on the first of every month.

The fee was being charged for an 'home appraisal' never conducted. A complaint was filled at the time with BBB. BBB got Sovereign to re-think collecting a fee for a service never rendered.

Sovereign only undoes mistakes 'as a courtesy' to costumers only after a complaint has been lodged against the bank.
