Claimant says:
"I bought a home warranty from Select Home Warranty policy no. 1239210 . on February 13 I noticed we had a water leak coming out from the bottom of our water heater. I called our warranty department and they send out a plumbing company by the name of Arizona Plumbing Experts Services. They send out a plumber by the name of Barret. He came over and agreed that the water heater was beyond repair and that it had to be replaced. I asked him how much will it cost and he said $1000.00 for the water heater and $200.00 to haul off the old one for a total of $1200.00. I told him replace it thinking that the water heater was covered by the warranty company. I came to find out the next day that the warranty company would not cover the replacement of the leaking water heater. They claim that the warranty does not cover WATER LEAKS. Yet in the booklet the give you it states items covered and one of them is water heaters. I paid $1599.00 for a five year warranty coverage. They do not want to cover my broken water heater. In the mean time I am out $1200.00 dollars."
