Claimant says:
"Select home owners policy after I made a claim that my home air conditioner and heating unit was not working. sent over a person who said the issue was a water leak and that a ( board) on the heating unit was damaged from water. they claimed that I was not covered for water damages. It cost me $450.
They offered me $75. if I renewed my policy which ends at the end of this month .
I tried getting in touch with the supervisor and they kept referring me to a claims person.

I called a number 855-267-3532 . I asked for an address . They said they did not have an address handy . Just E-mail them . I said I did not have a computer. They said (
Sorry) I called again several times and punched all the numbers the machine was saying and spoke to different people. They alll gave me the same answer.

These people are BAD and are cheating people like me .

Message from Select Home Warranty: The heating unit went bad sue to water damage and that is not covered under the policy. As written in section 12 of the policy "12. Consequential Damages. This Agreement does not provide coverage for damage caused by a malfunctioning or inoperable appliance or system, including, but not limited to, water, fire and mold spores." However we have gone above the policy and approved them for $75.
