Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I called Sals heating and cooling and explain my pool heater was not working, gave them the brand and the error code, they said they could have some one fix it the following day. the next day i made sure to call them and make sure that i can pay for the services over the phone. gave my credit card #.
someone did come out and said that the problem was the pool did not have enough water but that he check every thing clean some gasket and they it was in working order.
my surprise was when i got home and put more water in the pool the heater was not working the same error was coming up. i called them and and the guy who came out said that was weird but that he would come out again.
he did come out and said that saw what i meant but he did not know what it meant and that he needed to check with the manufacturer and call me back that was on thurs June 16. i never got a call back until tues June 21 because they were having a problem with my credit card.
I explain that i did not believe that i should be charge because they did not provide the service requested. at that point the account representative became irrate and said if did not pay she was going to send to collection.
i disconected the call and i got a call back from there manager saying that i committed fraud by providing a wrong # and left a voice mail."

  • Write your messaHere is what really happened. We were called for service and diagnosis for the pool heater we do not provide free repair estimates no company does. Before we arrived an upfront agreed price of $50 for the service call and also quoted $90 per hour as a minimum and it was agreed by this client and the credit card was given as this person was not going to be there as another approval to do this service. We did agree to call the manufacture but they have not returned the call and no time was charged for this. You were charged for both services quoted and provided a clear invoice of what was done and needed per your request. This needs to be paid for. We confirmed with the bank and the card # given is fraudulent. If this was an error then I advise you provide payment otherwise this can get very serious. We have phone conversations authorizing service and credit card info to use. Please pay for what we have done so far because this is hourly and this is what is owed to this point. If we proceed with any more services or do what we suggest this will be additional time and material. Very traditional and common. We would like payment for our services and this will all move along if not I am afraid you will leave us no choice but to seek payment collections. It is the last thing we want to do but justified. Let us know. We just can't continue to waive justified fees ever time a customer feels nothing was done or threatens a complaint. Services were rendered and knowledge and skills are not free.
