Claimant says:
"We purchased a car for $2,500. We paid $1,000 cash and financed $1,500 with him. It broke down within 3 weeks (we didn't even have the title to the car yet or the first payment made). We were told that the car is not worth fixing due to UNDISCLOSED issues and unavailability of parts. We offered to give him the car back and have himrefund only $500 of our $1,000. He refused to do anything stating that there is no "ethics" in the used car business. We realize that the cars are sold "as is", but why is there no accountability as to problems that the dealer is aware of. He did NOT want the car back, so that tells me he is very aware of the condition."
