Claimant says:
"I was curious about Q-Bids, which is advertised on television all the time. I read a lot on their site before giving them my credit information for further use. The only charge that they made you aware of was that it was 60 cents a bid, and you would still pay that fee even if you were not the winning bid. As soon as I plugged in my credit information, they took $60 out of my bank account. I was furious and called to cancel. Their phone number 1-405-253-2038. An indian with broken English answered. He told my I could get my money back, but that someone from Germany was also using my Q-Bid account....but he assured me that he could get my money back. I explained that two other times since January of this year, Indians with broken English had shut down my computer and after they had my information, they charged $300, then the second indian charged $499 to put my back on line. The Q-Bids indian assured me he wouldn't do that, so I stupidly gave him my information. At the end of giving him all my information, he told me he would transfer me to his technician and it would only cost me $510 to get my $60 back. I told him no on the $510 charge, and asked if he could still get my $60. back. He yelled no and hung up."
