Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Our house burnt on Sept. 6, 2015 (4107 Conley Drive., West Alexandria, OH 45381) and our Insurance Co. determined it was a total loss. We hired a Contractor that we had met at the Preble County Fair in August 2015. His name is Jake Wagers w/Premier Claims Solutions, LLC. We had a 4 month contract with him as of Oct. 7, 2015 and since we still have a mortgage on our house Mr. Wagers had to get all of the paperwork done and sent in to CitiMorgage n order for them to release him a check. Our Ins. Co. Auto Owners sent a check with Mr. Wagers name and our Names, Walter & Cynthia Landerer which Mr. Wagers brought to Good Samaratian Heart Hospital on 11/22/2015 where my husband had 4 heart bybasses and a left ventricle restoration performed on him by Dr. John Miller on 11/21/15. It was for $56,000 so Mr. Wagers could buy materials etc. to start on our home. Our friend Jerry Price, had already knocked down the house with his bulldozer and put most of it in the dumpsters that was provided. As of 1/8/15 we let Mr. Wagers go or fired him. Nothing was done at that time to our property, there was still debris left from the knock down that was done that Mr. Wagers did not get hauled away. So in short, I had given Mr. Wagers several personal checks to get permits, etc. in the amount of appx. $9,000 for a total of $65,000. All along we asked him for receipts and he never furnished them. When we fired him we asked him to please give us the receipts or the balance of the $65,000 which to date 1/16/15 we have not received. We were told that he contacted one of his Sub-contractors and asked them to make up invoices of things he had not purchased from them and the sub-contractor said he would not commit fraud and do such a thing them contacted us to let us know what Jake Wagers wanted him to do. This sub-contractor said he would stand up for us if it went to court, etc.
Is there some way that the Attorney General's office could help us or give us some advice as what to do in this situation??
I just retired in Aug. 2015 and barely have money to live on and Jake Wagers skunked us out of my life savings, because e did not have our house insured for the amount it will take to rebuild it.
Could you please contact us by phone - 937-839-5984 home or cell #937-545-6255. I don't want to be a senior citizen who got ripped off by a NO GOOD Skunk!!!
also, my email address is clanderer2@yahoo.com

Thank you in advance for anything you may able to for us in the above matter.

Respectfully,
Cynthia D. Landerer II"

  • We have yet to hear from Jake Wagers at Premier Claims Solutions or his attorney, even though we now have our attorney involved and he has been sent letter requesting receipts to back up the $58,000 he said he spent on the building of our new home (which by the way as of January 15,2016 he had not even built the foundation or poured the cement slab) even though he received an Ins. check in the amount of $56,000 !!!!!! Why won't he or his attorney get back in touch with us!!!!!!! He is a crook, big time!!!!!

  • On July 11, 2013 Jake Wagers and James Sasser was sued by the Ohio Attorney General's office and was ordered to pay court costs, consumer restitution in the amount of $24,857.23 and install a new roof for one consumer or pay an additional $4,000 in consumer restitution. Here are good numbers for them James at 513-869-9738 or Jake at 513-571-4151

Jake was just convicted of theft in Warren County for doing the same thing - Felony. and sued in just about every court in butler county. Him and James Sasser are thief's. Best bet is file criminal charges. But - I believe he owes the Ohio Attorney General something like $75,000 right now and has been barred from running any business in the state of Ohio. By the way they run un registered business and pay not taxes. Jake was just convicted of not even supporting his own kid's in Butler County. Sum - Both of them.
