Claimant says:
"On 4/23/13 I brought my car in to Pepboys At store 0849 875 South Willow st. Manchester,NH.It was a 2005 sentra sedan to have my plugs put in For three hours I waited for them to check with me about how it was going. I went up and asked are they getting it done? Store Manager Joseph Palmer said three plugs were in but number 4 plug was hard ,but would get it out..At the end of three hours they showed me the plug they destroyed with a drill bit,ez out stuck in my plug! Only the outside base remained and the bit very close to the piston. I had a whole plug going in.They turned off gas and spark so engine would not catch on fire.They moved my car to a parking space and billed me! They sent me out on three plugs!I asked what I could do,They said take to a dealer maybe they could fix the mistake!One tech joked it sounded like a diesel engine he had in the past.I am disappointed because they never came to me and explained to me what could happen if they went in on my last plug with a drill bit. What kind of of a machanic would do this and leave me this way? Most likely wrecked my piston when driving it to parking space. New machanic said would cost about $1500.00 just to look inside to see if they wrecked piston. I ended up paying for a used engine,time from work, rental car and very upset emotionally. I gave no extra permission to try a drill bit in my car. To resolve the problem,I would appreciate a refund of damages,used engine,$2,775.09,$319.00 WORK LOST ,$CAR RENTAL $63.81 GAS ,$8.00 iTS REALLY $3,161.69 SINCE TIME AND MONEY SPENT WRITING TO THEM.The Attorney General of NH says I Should take them to small claims court. Thank you."
