Claimant says:
"I was contacted by this business after filling out a online application for a loan. They told me I was approved for a loan. Then told me that I had 2 stipulations for the loan. 1. to make my monthly payment by the 25th of every month 2. to make a 239$ deposit to them via a green dot money pak. Which I succesfully did and sent to them. I was told the money would be wired into my checking account within 45 mintues to a hour. After a hour and a half I was contacted again by the account manager there. And was told that the transaction could not be completed because of a "RED FLAG" on my account because of a prior bankruptcy that I had filed 3 years ago. Then I was told that I had to send them another 535$ to remove the "RED FLAG". I told them that I could not do that and just simply wanted my 239$ refunded. The account manager proceeded to tell me that he could NOT refund any of my money without removing the "RED FLAG". I told him numerous times that my checking account was going to over withrdraw the next business day because of checks that were going to go through my account because I had sent them the 239$. He was EXTREMELY RUDE AND INCONSIDERATTE of that matter. Told me they could NOT refund a single penny without me sending them another 535$. So, not only would I like to file a complaint and get my 2239$ back. I would like to be compensated for any fees that I might be charged for my account being over withdrawn since I sent them the 239$ and expecting 2,000$ to be direct deposited into my checking account. Also I contacted my bank and they told me that no attempt of a direct deposit for 2,000$ was attempted and blocked. I feel like this is a scam and am extremely upset over this situation!!!"

  • According to what I found on payday loans in the state of Florida, it seems this company may be exceeding the permissible fees allowed by law, even with your initial fee you had to pay to get the loan. The fact that they are now trying to require you to pay even more fees is an issue. In this situation, I would contract the Attorney General’s office to see what kind of help would be available to you to get your money back.
