Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Extremely poor service...lack of courtesy to clients.

When I ordered a new garage door on July 9, 2010, I was told it would be in to the company within 4 weeks. After 5 weeks, I called the company a number of times over a three day period; the calls were never returned. When "Frank" finally responded, he indicated the door was there. We made an appointment to have it installed today (8/26) at 8 AM. I called at 9 AM and tried to determine the status. Frank indicated "they were working on it"...and they might be able to make it at 11 AM...I started calling at 12 and after several tries, finally got Frank to the phone at 1 PM; he indicated that they could not make it today and will "try again tomorrow"...I am not optimistic. Aside from the lack of notification that the door had arrived, I am very upset that this company did not have the courtesy to call me and let me know that they would not be able to install the door today....and not responding to my calls. I had moved a number appointments I had to tomorrow (Friday) and will now have to move these same appointments to another date...Frank indicated that "I didn't have to be there" when the door was installed, but based on demonstrated performance thus far, I am unwilling to trust that he will either show up or install the door correctly....he apparently is not registered with the BBB, but I am filing this report anyway....I thought writing it all down might make me feel better, but I remain very upset regarding this company's service to this customer and suspect that they probably treat all their clients the same way. I told Frank that we had to have the door installed this month, since we will be away for an extended time next month.
