Claimant says:
"I paid this company $650.00 to replace my back shed roof on August 10, 2012, and I have been getting nothing but the run around and excuses. In the meantime, my back shed continues to have internal water damage, and the company says it is not responsible for that nor has my roof been replaced. The first excuse was that an office worker was hospitalized, but the company was not shut down for four months and my money has not been returned. After repeated calls and emails, I was told that the work had been completed, which was a lie. Now, I am told that it has been raining for four months, and the company has not been able to do the job. I have been getting nothing but lies."

  • worked my 17 year old son for a month.... never paid him... they wetter


    we're waiting for a A's I called big job to pay them first. The best part these school bags did it at Xmas time. A check cashing place on torresdale ave has them listed as biggest dead beats of 2012

  • After doing research on the roofing company that was hired I came across two complaints made. If the Consumer Mediation Unit decides that you need to seek legal help there is a legal aid org called LASP the number is (877) 429-5994. In your claim I'm not sure if your saying that you paid the roofing company and work was not done, or the work was not fully completed. Here is the number Department of License and inspection call 311 or (215) 687-8686 to see if the roofing company was or is licensed and bonded. There is also The Office of the Inspector General were you can call (215) 686-1770 or go to website to report wrongdoing.

  • Apparently in the state of Pennsylvania, there is no requirement for contractors or roofing professionals to have any form of state license. Therefore, you should contact the Attorney General’s office, specifically consumer complaints, to see if they can potentially assist you. In the meantime, since you said that you have contacted them via email and phone, a certified letter may help you case. Indicate that you have already filed this complaint and are considering filing a complaint with the attorney general’s office. Perhaps that may help them move a little faster in assisting you.
