Claimant says:
"He came over to fix a washing machine but instead left it worst. We payed full price for new parts required to fix the machine but instead installed a used part. He never came back afterwards to finish the job."

  • Joe Muniz is still at it. I wish I had seen this page before dealing with him. After calling him out to do a washing machine pump replacement on a Sunday (which he did complete to my satisfaction), I decided to use him again to fix the oven in our new house. He came out to check out the oven and determined that it needed a new touch panel. He charged me $620 up front for parts and labor, which I thought was not a big risk because he'd helped me previously. It has now been nearly three weeks and I get excuse after excuse as to why he hasn't come to replace the part - the part came in as the wrong color, he wasn't able to get off work at "the warehouse," he had to go to his daughter's school play and now he's supposedly in the hospital after getting into a car accident on his way to said play. Meanwhile, we have a double wall oven that is not attached to the wall with a missing touch panel. He has changed the name of his "business" to "All Major Brands Appliance Repair" and also has a new phone number: 210-831-9926

  • I am going through a similar issue with Joseph. He came to my house to see what the possible issue might be with my washer. He proceeded to tell me it was a control board issue, which I already knew. He charged me $389.70 up front which I found to be odd but being I'm studying business at UTSA I figured its due to overhead costs and he might need the money upfront to order the part. Long story short, here it is 22 days later and I have received nothing from Joseph other than a lot of false promises and stories. He assured me before I paid that it would be a 2-3, 5 day max wait for the part to come in. I have reached out again and now I'm just being ignored. If this helps at all can you please get in touch with me so I can pursue other options as well to retrieve my money for services not rendered, theft/fraud. I am a retired veteran on a small pension and here is this man who clearly saw my decorations and shadow box and had no problem coming into my home to be deceitful.
