Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I purchased a phone just over 6 months ago and paid $80.00 for a new phone. Today I went in because I was having problems charging the phone. I went to the Dunn Ave store branch in Jacksonville, Florida and ask him to check it out, what is the problem. The salesman said " it's an old phone, plus it's discontinue, that's why you are having trouble". I told him that's impossible, I just purchased this phone as new 6 months ago. He replied "no sir, it's an old phone". He looked it up in his computer and showed me that it wasn't a new phone, it has been sold twice before. So I told him I paid $80.00 for this phone and it is a used phone, what can I do about it? He said "nothing, the gentleman that sold it was fired for unethical practice. So I called Metro PC for customer service and they said they couldn't help me either, so they directed me to a regional corporate office on Atlantic Blvd Jacksonville, Florida. I called them and explain what happen and he offer to help me by selling me a new phone again, I explained I paid already for a new phone, but I was tricked and sold a used phone, he reply that's all I can do for you and he got sarcastic about my situation. I am stuck with an $80.00 used phone and no one is willing to help me or claim responsibility, I just want the new phone that I paid for originally."
