Claimant says:
"MAREK SZELIGA who represent SZEL-BUD INC. signed a contract to perform work in the amount as outlined in the attached contract.
Mr. Szeliga started the tile removal on the kitchen on June 03, 2016 with only portion of the total floor area. Mr. Szeliga promised that he will finish the removal of the tiles and base cabinets on June 13, 2016. The floor condition is dangerous to walk with the grout and screws exposed. See attached pictures. Because of the floor condition, we did not stay on the house from June 04, 2016 through June 11, 2016. Mr. Szeliga did not show up on June 13, 2016 because he was on the emergency room in Cook County Hospital according to the phone from woman who did not identify his relation with Mr. Szeliga. I believe their reason for not coming on the week of June 13, 2016. I keep texting and calling Mr. Szeliga about his condition. None of my inquiries were answered. To date June 121, 2016 he never showed up nor answer me. The work Mr. Szelga left behind and the floor materials I paid him on June 3, 2016 ($12,93.40) is not worth the amount I paid. The labor cost for partial removal of existing flooring by Mr. Szeliga should only be $1,000 maximum estimate by an independent flooring contractor."

  • 06-20-2016 — I SENT FOLLOWUP MAIL TO HIS ADDRESSES ASKING TO COMPLETE THE WORK OTHERWISE NEW CONTRACTOR WILL BE USED.
