Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"We cancelled our Security Service with Life Shield owned by AT&T and they are charging $300.00 for us to cancel. We were paying them $30.00 a month for twelve months and they raised that to $40.00 a month. Now, after seventeen months, we canceled the service and they said that since our service contract doesn't end until 2018 that we must pay them $300.00 to cancel it. If we kept the service until the contract was over, we would have paid over $760.00 in addition. ''''We are calling this 'Highway Robbery'!!!!!!!!! Do we have any other options than to pay the penalty for the cancellation on September 9th? original purchase was May 2015."
