Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I Purchased an LG electric Dryer....from Home Depot....on April 10, 2012. The dryer now has problems with the ball bearings that allow the tumbler in the dryer to turn the clothes in order to dry. I called LG and the claim that because the Dryer was a floor model, they cannot give me an extended warranty....My argument is that the Dryer is ONLY 18 months old and should not have these types of problem only 6 months after the factory warranty expires.

Now LG wants ME to pay to have a technician look at the dryer. I have an LG washing Machine that I've had for almost 5 years w/no problem...Ive also had a Maytag dryer for at least 14years...My Maytag is still working...The problem with the LG dryer is a signal to me, that LG (the company) is turning out shoddy (for a better word) workmanship.

When speaking to Bonnie, the LG representative, I was told that it is up to LG to decide if they will fix my Dryer. My husband and I have been on the phone with LG for approximately 3days...for hours at a time....They LG has done nothing to help us clear up this matter...My only goal is to get my dryer I stated previously...I should not have such problems with my dryer which I paid $917.00 (before taxes).
