Claimant says:
"Mr. Hyman assured me he could handle my case with no problem but his plan of getting another Lawyer to help him back fired and he didn't know how to continue handling my case..Mr. Hyman can be very rude and non caring. I was under the understanding that Mr. Hyman was suppose to have my best interest at heart and really did not know how to handle a accident law suit. Mr Hyman let things go to the point of almost running out of time and had not done anything to file the suit in court. I feel Mr. Hyman did not know how to handle my type of case but he lead me to believe he did. He ask permission to confer with 2 other lawyers but they refused to help him. After the other 2 lawyers refused to assist in my case I really feel Mr. Hyman did not know how to proceed and did not bring this to my attention till he had wasted 1year and 7 months on my case with no progress. So when I got concerned I ask about getting a second opinion and when I did Mr. Hyman said sure get a second opinion but didn't bother to tell me at this time if I chose to get the second opinion he would drop my case. So after I got the 2nd. opinion Mr. Hyman informs me that he no longer want to continue representing me and to get my 2nd. opinion lawyer to represent me. Now Mr. Hyman knew he had held my case up for a year and seven months and had now left me with no lawyer and the statue of limitations to run out in 4 months and I had a very hard time trying to find a lawyer to take over the case because of the amount of time left before the statue of limitation runs out which is Oct.3, 2014. Most accident law suit cases take a lot more time than 4 months to file and get ready to persue. Mr Hyman refused to answer my called and left most of the work that was done by his office was done by his secutary and me. I feel Mr. Hyman wasted a lot of valuable time that I didn't have to lose.Mr. Hyman new he was not an accident lawyer and really didn't know what he was doing and was counting on getting another lawyer to assist him with my case but he could not find and Lawyer that would work with him. So Mr. Hyman was just letting thing ride the way they were not doing anything knowing my time was running out to be able to do anything and I really believe he would have let my statue of limitations run out and not said anything if I had not ask about the 2nd opinion. Mr. Hyman is a very non caring Lawyer. He did not help me with any of my problems that I had to deal with after the accident He did nothing to help with making things a little easier for me for I was in a wheelchair for a year and a half. But no Mr. Hyman never showed he was concerned for my well being at all and all he was after was money... Very Sad"
