"After tremendous solitation, due to notice of public records, at the local court house of my home being posted for sheriff sale. I responded to her said positive results in my efforts of restructuring with my lender Citi-mortgage. She of course told me of her excellent track record w/citi-mortgage and prior clients and she almost knew them by name. Expecting any kind of a positive result. I sent the fee of $595.00 by money gram as instructed.That was the last time I heard from her. She egnored all calls and e-mails in my attemp to find out the results. I feel duped to say the least and I want my money back ($595.00 and the cost of faxs and cab fee to staples). I have all the reciepts and saved voice mails and emails. This market place with not enough laws or regulation to keep these so called professional in check, makes it so easy to rip off the public in need just like this. Sad to think there are very few options for me. With-out another thought from this professional, There goes twenty-plus years of equity that I'm left to fight legally. If I don't hear from her with acceptable results with-in two weeks from this date. I'll be left with no other to the realestate commission and file suit w/ my attorney."

"My name is Kris Calvaresi and I decided to respond to this complaint. I have not responded previously because it is a frivolous complaint made by someone who cannot and did not take responsibility for their lack of action. I have an extensive career in the mortgage industry as a loan originator, an underwriter and now as a modification specialist. I have been doing modifications for 9 years and in all that time, this is the only complaint that has been made against me. The success of obtaining a modification does not just lie on my shoulders but is also in part, dependent upon the client following my instructions. This client did not follow my instructions at all. He was difficult to get a hold of...rarely returned phone calls...failed to submit documentation in a timely fashion...refused to put a monthly payment into a savings account to show the lender that he had the means and the intent to resume making monthly payments. I personally did not create his problems and sincerely tried to help him solve this issue. His idea of a resolution was to dump everything in my lap and then simply ignore my requests. I have no intention whatsoever in returning his payment. Those funds were used to purchase a home valuation (appraisal), a title search (for liens) and a credit report. These are services that I require and they need to be paid for upfront. I am compensated by my company after the loan is modified and recorded at the county level. This is not simply money in my pocket. Just because I choose to help people save their homes from foreclosure does not mean that I am a scam artist...far from it."
