"Karen came from a commune in Iowa (Davis City) which is well known as a "mind control group".

My mom caught her spraying 409 on our salad one day & she tried to push me down the stairs but my spouse was behind me & steadied me.

I called the Sedalia Police on her right after the start of the school year because I was at my wits end. She wasn't adjusting properly.

She was first at our house on a "trial basis only" which was to be discussed at the end of the 6 weeks trial basis, before a Divorce Decree Modification permanized her address with us.

Her behavior was very unlike her older brother's, who adjusted just fine & brought home straight "A's" without much studying at all, if ANY!
This all worried my husband, so he got the school to send him weekly progress reports. Sedalia District 200 found her to be 6th grade level while her mom at the commune homeschool deemed her to be 8th grade competency level...

She had a resentment with me firstly, for not being her dad's wife. He was on heart pills including nitroglycerine & an inhaler + other meds from Vietnam combat-related illnesses. I was in charge due to that. He slept quite a lot. When he woke, I normally had things to tell him about his daughter. He began to believe that it was all in my head, that I was just being "territorial".
My MOM took her to church & out to dinner afterward & to the lake on campouts & to their cabin. Mom ALSO began having things to tell me later, when his daughter returned.

My husband had other former in-laws who were in that same commune, who broke free & went to attend exit therapy for 90 days to deprogram or depattern.
So with info from them, he located an exit therapist in Columbia, Mo & we sat all 3 of our appointments on the same day - to save road time & gas. DO RAPISTS TAKE THEIR SO-CALLED VICTIMS TO THERAPY BECAUSE THE NEXT THING WE KNEW, she claimed he raped her every day for 2 years, 2-3 times a day! There was no dna gathered. They didn't give her a rape-kit. She claimed I was off at friend's houses. I didn't even drive back then. I was home. My mom came over almost every single day to help us work on our 170_ year old fixer-upper!
Every day except weekends & some holidays & when out-of-town, of course.
SHE MADE NO REPORTS ON THE SO-CALLED 2100 TIME RAPIST. THE ONLY REPORT UP UNTIL THAT WAS ON ME BUT ONLY AFTER THE CALL TO THE SEDALIA POLICE ON HER!
WE LEFT HER UNSUPERVISED OFTEN. WE WENT TO SHOP AT THE NEARBY BASE. IT WAS A 40_ MINUTE ROUND TRIP & OVER 3 HOURS TO SHOP THE BX & THE COMMISSARY - SOMETIMES TWICE A WEEK. WE ALSO HAD 3 WORKING PHONES IN THE HOUSE + SHE WENT TO NEIGHBORS, TO VISIT HER MOM ONE WEEKEND A MONTH & EVERY OTHER HOLIDAY. SHE KNEW WHERE THE CUTLERY WAS IN THE KITCHEN & WHERE THE OTHER TOOLS WERE TOO SO I'M NOT SURE WHY SHE DIDN'T HIDE SOME KNIVES ALL AROUND - PLUS HIS SLEEPING SO MUCH WOULD HAVE MADE IT SIMPLE TO CUT HIS THROAT IN HIS SLEEP!

One of the biggest questions on my mind has always been, WHY DID SHE RETURN TO THE HOUSE AFTER SHE MADE HER REPORT TO AUTHORITIES THAT DAY? This began by her friends & her during study-hall discussing boyfriends/girlfriends. They were in the same class but 2 years younger due to commune home-school. So when it was HER turn & she didn't have a boyfriend to discuss - she said she slept with her's. They asked, "WHO!?!?" she said "my dad" -- they took that info to the school office & they called dfs. The Juvy officer (Maria Mittlehauser) * Social Worker (Denise Woolery) picked her up at school & took her out of town, to the county just North of Pettis, Saline County, for exam & questions. They didn't bother to contact either parent.
They allowed her to get on the bus & return home, which I DO NOT understand. Obviously, she was not in any danger or this would not have been allowed!

The following October (this happened in April of 95) her mother wrote a letter to the prosecutor & the social worker. It described her daughter as a full-blown deviant. She described her daughter who molested a preacher each time she sat on his lap, fondling him & that the preacher had found her lying prone on the floor masturbating with great concentration. it shook him so badly he had to take a few days before he could tell the mom.
Later, this same preacher made National News for refusing to wear ankle tracking device based on religious reasons. He had been charged with molesting underage girls at the commune. I HAVE NO IDEA IF SHE MOLESTED OURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDDLER SON OR NOT - I HAVE NO PROOF - I THINK SHE DID THOUGH. SHE NOW IS ALLOWED TO LIVE NEXT TO A PRESCHOOL CALLED IMAGINATION STATION IN SEDALIA MO, ACCORDING TO GOOGLE. (#PEDOGATE!)

THE MISSOURI STATE DEFENDER OFFICE CONTACTED ME IN 1997 SAYING HIS CASE WAS CLOSED & IF I WANTED THE FILES I COULD COME TO GET THEM. I DID. THAT'S HOW I KNOW THE THINGS IN THE LETTER BY HER MOM, OCTOBER 1995! OTHER THINGS WERE OUT-OF-WHACK TOO!

The Prosecutor then was Jeff Mittlehauser -- his wife Maria, the Juvnile office head.
He is now a Judge. There'd been a lot of talk about him. There were death threats about websites with info regarding him & the sites were hacked.

Much later - within recent 5 or so years - I met a woman who was staying across from my dad's house. We talked awhile & she told me Mittlehauser (Jeff) had been caught in Warrensburg Mo in a motel room with cocaine & a hooker... just a few weeks later, she (Mandy or Mindy Black) was found cut to pieces in a trailer park.

The neighbors told me it was so strange because the police (normally?) would talk to people at that house OR neighbors but didn't. Shortly after there were renovations done there.

She wanted me to email her some stuff pertaining to what we'd talked about so I did. She never replied.
Ms. Black had told me she'd just returned from buying lottery tickets at a nearby Break Time convenience store. So, was she killed for the lottery tickets or because of what she'd said about the (now) Judge & the cocaine & hooker in the Warrensburg motel !?!?!

The step-daughter hated me from day one & no one noticed it but me until it was too late. She could have stopped that Divorce Decree Modification from making her address the same as ours, with one simple mention to her mom. So many "coulda, woulda, shoulda's" that she had at hand but didn't put them to use. WHY NO REPORTS ON THE SO-CALLED CRAZY RAPIST?!?!?! not up until the day after on the way home from our appointments in Columbia mo - when I saw the Kemper Military School billboard on the highway & winked at John Myers (my spouse since 1985) & suggested to him that was where we should send her to get her straightened out! It was his birthday that day. THE VERY NEXT DAY she came up with that tale about sleeping with her dad & it snowballed from there!

I later figured out more close than what I knew in time though, There was a white Poodle Avon bottle near her bed that my mom gave her. I figured out that she used it as an impliment of self-rape. She had it named "dad"."

  • this is a portion of the letter written by my husband's female child's mother (Rebecca) in 95 to the Prosecutor & a Social Worker: Denise Woolery -- her mother knew full & well that her daughter demonstrated "deviant tendencies" before calling my husband to arrange that they (her old brother & her) (finally) meet. She failed to warn us knowing we had a toddler in the house! She told them both that he was dead for 13 years, up until that. He took it on advisement to leave the ex-wife or be driven insane. He overheard a conversation between her & her girlfriends that led to her raping him, to become pregnant with the 2nd child, against his will, due to already working 2 jobs at the time & realizing it was going to be too stressful as it was supporting only one child, let alone 2.

    He got on a train hobo style & ended up in Tx & met his soon to be 2nd wife (Nancy) & divorced 1rst wife Rebecca. He told me it was an arranged marriage, (LDS Church)to begin with between their families & he really didn't have anything much to do with it at all ... It does seem peculiar that both the mother & the daughter are so aggressive. (Possibly genetic?)

  • Karen Tow was regularly EMPOWERED & this fact has been ignored & side-stepped.We got her therapy & allowed her to go many places, as well as left her home alone, unsupervised & unrestricted. She made friends with 2 of our closest neighbors in downtown Sedalia. She went places with my parents as well as her mother who she went to visit regularly. There wasn't one single reason for her to not phone-in any sort of problem she encountered. That entire notion is bizarre to me. Especially with 3 working telephones in the home. She described the penis as FLACCID. A FLACCID PENIS in a RAPE does not COMPUTE.
    WHY WOULD SHE TELL THE SOCIAL WORKER THAT RAPIST'S PENIS WAS FLACCID?
    WHY WOULDN'T SHE PLEAD WITH THE SOCIAL WORKER WHO TOOK HER TO HER EXAM TO NOT MAKE HER GO BACK HOME?
    WHY DIDN'T SHE MENTION THIS TO HER MOM?
    WHY DIDN'T SHE MENTION IT TO HER MOM BEFORE THE DECREE MODIFICATION WAS IN PLACE? - (SHE HAD 6 WEEKS TO FIGURE OUT IF SHE DIDN'T WANT TO LIVE WITH A SO-CALLED RAPIST.)
    WHY DIDN'T SHE GO TO THE NEIGHBORS WHILE WE WERE SHOPPING - OUR SHOPPING TRIPS WEREN'T QUICK.
    WE LIVED IN DOWNTOWN ACROSS FROM A CLEANING BUSINESS AND THE SENIOR CENTER AND CADDY-CORNER FROM A CATHOLIC CHURCH -- WHY WEREN'T EITHER OF THOSE FIT TO BE CONSIDERED A SAFE-SPACE? WHY DIDN'T SHE HIDE KNIVES ALL OVER THE HOUSE TO DEFEND HERSELF? I AM TIRED OF FEMALES WHO DO THIS SORT OF THING AND I HOPE SOMEONE MAKES HER SIGN A FALSE ACUSSOR REGISTRY!   • If they felt her story was real then why did they allow her to go back to the place she claimed the crimes against her occurred? That is not "protective" & a child protection agency was involved on that very day & even before that.

    it does not mesh.

    it doesn't jive that if Myers had an offense against him to be sentenced as a repeat offender that they would allow him to contract a house across the street from a known daycare.

    their stuff is not jiving & meshing like it should & never did!

"Do we know what the Respondent says? What is the actual connection between V.M. and Karen Tow? (I read V.M as mater familias with whom Karen was placed - but by whom?) Was Karen of an age to be personally liable? Finally, how are the values of the claim calculated?"
