"Metal roof installed on our home and the flashing is installed wrong which will create a place for water to leak betweeen the rood and the siding. Flashing is installed over the aluminum siding and not underneath the siding."

  • 07-06-2016 — 07-06-2016- Contractor returned to repair but stated he did not know how to install flashing underneath the siding. Left flashing as is over the outside of the siding.

  • 7/13/2016 Neff's Roofing Contacted David and Raynelle around 750am. Neff's Roofing talked to Raynelle and asked if they were still satisfied with the work that had been completed on 7/6/16. Raynelle stated so far they were satisfied. Neff's roofing asked if they were aware of a peoples claim and Raynelle stated that her and her husband did not file a claim on here or with your services.

    now in regards to the statement under the events the flashing was not left as is over the outside of the siding. a groove was cut and a piece of counter flashing was installed and sealed to keep out any types of water.

    If need be I have a written document with the customers signature of all issues in questioning have been taken care of and fixed to the customers approval.

    This complaint was unknown by the customer and customer agreed with Neff's Roofing in assuming that their son might have filed the claim. I did not do work for the son and I am therefore not bound to answer any questions that he has. and like i said the customer was contacted today on 7/13/2016 and customer stated that they were still happy with the work and they had not found any other issues.

  • I (Son of David and Raynelle McConaughey) Curtis E. McConaughey did submit complaint for my parents. My parents ask me to because they do not have a computer and are elderly and do not know how to use a computer. Also your method of istalling flashing is stupid. So each year someone has to go on the roof and re-chaulk everything!!! You should have installed the flashing and trim properly to start with. This is what was replaced and caused problems at another residence you did work for in Mt. Union- remember!!!!!!!!

  • Also Mr. Neff- do you remember on 1-17-2016 at approx. 9:00a.m.when you came to the house to talk with me at my request with my parents?? You agreed then that you knew the flashing was incorrect and even had a previous employee with you. You agreed to repair and do it correctly as soon as the weather broke. But it took you till July!!!. You even said all the trim, cap, and flashing needed to be re-done.
