Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I had my hair colored at Jordan Alexander Boutique Salon in Hatboro, PA on 1/14/2017. The color came out red, which I told the Stylist, Kristin that I didn't want. I explained that I wanted a blonde/light brown color. She told me to return on 1/16/2017, which I did. Then she colored my hair again, a reddish color and then again with bleach to a school bus yellow color. I explained to her that I couldn't go to school the next day looking like this. She then colored my hair back to the original color of brunette. Do not go to this salon for hair coloring. They don't know what they are doing."

  • 01-14-2017 — Initial appointment to have hair colored.
  • 01-16-2017 — second appointment to have hair re-colored. Hair was re-colored two more times - the wrong color and then colored back to original color.
  • 02-12-2017 — Stopped in salon and spoke with Diana Kalai. She said she would credit Groupon of $48.00, since Kristin the hair stylist said she would refund my money on the Groupon that I initially paid with for the service.
  • 02-16-2017 — Called and left message regarding status of Groupon credit.
  • 02-18-2017 — Heard no response from Diana. Called and left another message for Diana to return my call.
  • 02-20-2017 — Called again. Spoke to Lindsay. Explained the situation with her. She was no help with the issue in hand.

  • This salon was awful, complained to Groupon and they never disputed or responded. Left midway during haircut as she literally chopped off my hair in chunks, I grew for hair donation and was unable to submit the 4 seperate braids she destroyed. Did not listen at all but claimed she was a colorist & knew the importance of this appt for me since my long-term 12yr salon had closed, stylist moved. She colored my hair which I didn't even want or request & gave orange/Brown coloring when I'm a natural blonde. Gave me a block style helmet haircut which i showed the simplest photo and said I did not want & she even tried to convince me it was, not even close! Full helmet head, discolored n now must grow out b4 attempting to fix or ill be a full on pixie cut. Lost 12 donation inches as well. She not the manager did a hing to help or even reach out to artempt to resolve, awful & unprofessional manager/owner & staff. Did i mention it was empty, they had no inventory & discussed salon issues while I say in the chair for 4 hrs n then she began rushing when the only other client came in. Place was empty, zero staff & the manager was more concerned with making dinner that night than her customer! As of yet no response & I'm still attempting to wear my hair up n back n there's a wasted hair donation she couldn't even cut off the simplest braid right! Clueless, acts professional & fun but beware this salons all looks & no real talent, mamagement or real business practices! I'd Have paid triple elsewhere n think the positive reviews are posted by staff thair fake & boost ratings but fail to come close to even acceptable and should be reprimanded bc they are misleading & provide horrible services & the owner doesn't care as long as she claims the Groupon & gets paid. Gurantee this salon will be gone & soon! Buyer beware!
