Claimant says:
"Explain your problem with this party...I bought my boat at Jesco. My boat was running fine and had been properly winterized. I brought my boat to Jesco to summarize it (standard maintenance). Jesco had a 25% off discount offered. I called in and the receptionist said that I needed to bring the boat in before a deadline date, which I did. When I arrived at Jesco, the girl confirmed the discount but the service department refused. After talking with management they reluctantly agree to a discount and seemed angry. They checked the fluids, changed the spark plugs etc. and told me my boat was operable and in great shape for the summer. I used the boat and it lost power and smoked so I brought it back to Jesco. After analyzing my boat the manager said something must have fallen into one of the pistons, like a bad spark plug particle. This ruined one of three cylinders. He told me I needed a new engine. When I told him that they just changed spark plugs, he was quiet and did not want to talk with me. I asked them to help me and they suggested I deal with the manufacturer. They said the boat had only 600 hours on it and that I would have more clout with the manufacturer than they would and stopped helping me. I requested assistance and they refused to contact me. My boat ran fine until I brought it to Jesco; they ruined my engine and left me hanging. They did offer to put in a new engine at full price. I am warning any other customers to stay away from Jesco in Kalispell, Montana."
