Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"In October 2012, I purchased a power juicer base from Jack Lalanne (Tristar Products) as a replacement part because of a defecti in the original base purchased from Costco. I have been trying to resolve this problem with Jack Lalanne in Wallingford, Conn. They have made promises to resolve this issue but have not to this date gotten back in touch with me. They have sent me a base that does not work with other parts of the Juicer. They have made promises to send me a whole unit with all the parts. This has not happen as of this date. They have sent out the wrong base on several occassions with the promise of sending out the rest of the parts. I called them yesterday and today. I was told that someone would get back in touch with me at 3:00PM yesterday. No one Did. I called today at 11:00am and was told that a Carlos would get back with me in 10 mins. This has not happened."

  • In this situation, you stated that you have been in contact with customer service, and while you haven’t received the correct parts needed for repair purposes, you have at least gotten some contact and parts. Perhaps they have the wrong machine or parts needed listed in connection with your purchase? To clarify what you are seeking, since contacting them by phone has just created some confusion, maybe a certified letter sent to them, explaining what machine you have, the parts number or model number associated with it, and all the parts you are seeking to make sure you receive the parts you need. Also, you mentioned that you received the original juicer from Costco. Maybe they can assist you in this situation as well.
