"We answered Isaac's ad on craigslist for computer repair April 16, via text. After working (questionable) on our computer, he concluded that it needed a new hard drive. On Tuesday April 22 we brought him a new hard drive along with a second computer that needed to be upgraded to windows 7. He said he could upgrade it if it met the requirements. We also gave him an external storage hard drive to transfer all the data from these two desktop computers. He said he would have them ready later that afternoon. He called us late afternoon and we came by to pick them up. We asked him if he had been able to upgrade it. He answered "yes, if not bring it back". Once we arrived home we plugged in the one with the new hard drive and it did not work as expected. It just kept giving us all kinds of error messages including 'crash will be imminent' we turned it off immediately. We then tried the second computer and Windows 7 was nowhere to be found. It still had Windows XP. We immediately contacted him via text and phone. He asked us to bring them back, but after my wife and I discussed it. We decided not to. We lost our confidence in his honesty and ability to fix them. We asked him for our money back. He thereafter did not respond to any of our texts or calls."

  • HP computer's hard drive not set up properly. I'm unable to use it.
    2nd computer not updated to Vista Home Premium. Still has XP. The computers were supposed to be fixed not left in worse shape.
