Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On Dec. 15,2015, I sent my sewing machine to Viking Center in Bangor, Me. The machine died in the middle of sewing. This machine cost me $6000 + with accessaries and is warranteed for 5 years.After waiting 2 weeks,I called to inquire on it. They told me the part needed to fix it was on backorder. I called again after another 2 weeks only to be told the part is still on backorder. After another week still no part. I then called Tennesee place Kept me on hold 54 mins only to be told part was still on backorder. After telling them how unfair that was to me, she said she would check and get back to me which she never did. After 2 days I again called Tennessee (on hold 45 mins this time only to be told I would have to wait for part to come in and that she couldnot find me in the system for the first call I made, but that she would too get right back to me. Of course that never happened. Next day I called Bangor Viking center and still no part. This is week 8 by then. I told her I needed my machine for commitment to make a quilt for a paying customer who wants it for a March wedding I stand to lose $1000 on this committment. I asked the Bangor clerk to please replace the machine since noone has any idea when the part will come in. I have waited long enough. She couldn't do that unless her district manager okayed it. I asked her o please call her and tell her I want a new machine replacement. After waiting another day I called Bangor again and her district manager said no way. This is when I told to her to call her and tell her I was going to report this to BBB. In so many words she said to go ahead. So here is how it stands. Week 9 no machine. Please, can you help me. I am hearing impaired and this is my work and passion."

  • I called place of purchase to follow up
    on so called part backorder on 2/17 and still no part. What will it take for you to send me a new machine? This is ridiculous. No one at Husqvarna wants to take responsibility for this stressful mess.
