Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I purchased a reason6 music application at the pico-westwood store, in front of someone who was with me and there were employees standing there too. It was in a disk sleeve, no plastic wrap, no box, just a sleeve. I asked if this was it, there's nothing else with this? He said yes that's it. The application requires an internet connection, and an account created to register the software. It was ridiculous enough to have to go through getting internet service, and going through all the steps to register the software. Then, propellerhead asked for something called an ignition key. This is when I really started to question the sale. I took the sleeve back to guitar center and talked with Jared Casio. He was'nt rude, but he had me wait while he went and talked to someone. When he returned he did not correct the problem. He gave me a business card and even emailed me telling me they needed more information so they could access my account. I do not have an internet account with guitar center, and right about now I do not ever want one. So, I'm sure they meant my propellerhead account. I do not want an account with anyone whom I cannot trust, let alone allow them to access anything of mine. They had the chance to correct this CRIME on saturday when I came into the store, but did not. All they have to do is supply me with an application of reason6, in the box, plastic wrapped, with everything inside that should be inside. Fourty years of trust, down the toilet because of an employees foolishness. For what purpose, I have yet to discover. I have been punted from their contact page. I've gotten invalid email address messages, all that. The simplest of things, the easiest of things it would appear is far too much for some in our society. I have worked hard my whole life, and I might as well not say anymore about my life or else it will just get people I am finally trusting in trouble. I called and the phone just cut off. I even heard some one try to hang up. They are barely answering my emails the last one was yesterday, but I'm still waiting for a them to contact me back after yet another email I sent to them. I want my software. Complete and intacted with proper packaging, no tricks and no games. They had better not ask me for another dime, either. Ya' know, there is such a thing as too much game, and our world is full to the brim these days with just that. Help!"

  • I got an email on 4-24-12 from guitar center telling me that they would be getting in touch with me about an exchange. I got a call on 4-25-12 from some one named jeremy who denied sending me an email. He said he was from the corporate office, and denied that it happened. He behaved as though he had not even read the email you said you had sent guitar center. I say this because he knew nothing about any written apology, or refunding the cost of all this(requested later than claim) He said he still wanted me as a happy customer and then proceded to offer me an ignition key. I told him to send it on, but this is not what I requested. I payed for a SEALED BOX OF SOFTWARE. Not a sleeve with a disk in it. He was nice enough, but evil people can smile in your face as their knife slips in, ya know. I have experienced this many time before. I just might tell you some of those stories one day. I requested the sealed box of software, with everything that comes in it, a written apology, and later the cost of having to do this. This was not offered, let alone received. They did anything they wanted. Smirking, and gigling all the while. I had someone with me who saw this. There were emplyees around who saw this. I asked jeremy about what his camera realtime showed and got no answer. I have installed such systems and the camera system will show my truth, if it has'nt already. I need to know who this guy is, and jeremy did tell me his name. His name is Carlos Marin. Who is this person and what is he doing screwing around in my life? Check their realtime. This claim is not settled whether he sends the ignition key or not. I did not find an ignition key in the sleeve, but there are other items that come in the purchased box, manuals, coupons, rebates, extras, and so on. I did not have these things because I WAS NOT SOLD A BOX OF SOFTWARE. I WAS SOLD A SLEEVE OF SOFTWARE AND AFTER I ASKED IF THIS WAS ALL THERE WAS TO IT I WAS TOLD "YES THAT'S IT" I am beginnning to wonder here people. What does everyone really do to earn their coins these days? This matter has NOT been settled whether he sends the ignition key or not. And, if the people behaving this way in our society can get away with these things, then what good is any of this? I want what I paid for, a written apology, and the cost of having to do all of this. Ignition key received, not a BOX OF SOFTWARE. Something like 38mb used with no visible files on ignition key drive. No bytes free. Verification panel no longer comes up. Software works. Now, if I had asked for a deal of some sort than this DEAL that has been offered would have been less cutting. However, I did not ask for any DEALS. I asked for what was supposed to be given when I purchased the software. I have explained that enough. When I heard the knock on the door, I asked "Who is it? The reply was "u.p.s." As I got up to go to the door, the person on the other side of the door called out my name. I responded "Yes" I then heard something hit the screen door, at high velocity. I rushed to the door. When opened I saw absolutely no one, and there sat my delivery. The box was sealed (whatever that truly means) so I opened the box and saw, Styrofoam filler, bubble wrapped item. Inside the bubble wrap was an envelope that was slashed open. I did not do this. Looked like maybe a box cutter did the cutting. If this is a threat of some kind, come on with it. You see I prepared for my death a long time ago. Very strange and questionable things have been happening to me and my family for a long time now. In a society with very little privacy, that is not acceptable. Through the heart please, no muss no fuss. That will symbolize the tremendous heartache I have experienced, just about my whole life. If this was a test of loyalty, I am true and loyal to those who are true and loyal to me, not to those who have games and tricks and no real solutions. Real-time is important. When the obvious is constantly ignored, than too many become victims. I never aspire to be a victim, and all of this is a testament to that truth. Take special note to all the things in your life that would perpetuate such instances. Don't get it twisted either. God bless those who have managed to accomplish any type of real help. However, it would appear that some in this society have been enabled (possibly through legislation passed. Sometimes, I believe without our knowledge. Or, the laws of this land simply not being observed) People so blatantly behave in this manner when they think that they can. Who is helping them? It is important that this problem be solved correctly. For everyone's sake. A BOX OF SOFTWARE, COSTS PAYED, A WRITTEN APOLOGY. And, all connections to anything else in my life handled. And I as a vicitm, NOTIFIED BY THOSE IN THE KNOW ABOUT IT OF ANY QUESTIONALBE AND OR CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES AGAINST ME. Legal reps. are good. However, before one of them is contacted by me personally, I must know whether they can be trusted, after the volume of things that are obviously taking place in our society. I wouldn’t want to spend my hard earned money on someone who would take my money, and then come back to me with a line like "I cannot help you" or "They can do just about anything they want" All I attempted was to purchase a box of software from a company that I have patronized for over 40 years. Couple this with all the other experiences I have suffered for the last 22 years (that I know about)and you begin to more readily understand my truth) I do not steal. It is not on the path I walk. So, for me to be suspected of not telling the truth about this is ridiculous. More so, consider the real-time events people. Trust is one of the most important things in life. Especially in these times. I believe that there are enough in this society with the authority and the means for all of these things in my life to be solved. Since that is MERELY what I believe, I must trust those in society who has, data I do not have, who have gear I do not have, etc... Solve this problem correctly. You won't regret it. Also, my attempts to file another claim are running into problems at the CREDIT CARD AREA. The same information, which is current and accurate, that was used to pay for my first filing is now not being accepted by the web site I have decided to trust. What’s up?

    "Guitar Center does not agree that this transaction happened as stated. However, we do want Mr. Boyd to be a happy customer and have arranged to get him an ignition key free of charge. I spoke with Mr. Boyd today and explained this to him and confirmed his mailing address. The ignition key will be sent and I've asked Mr. Boyd to let me know if his software works as it should after he receives our shipment."
