"I took my car to Goodyear for a simple oil change. While changing the oil, they damaged the oil pan. While replacing the oil pan, they did more damage to the car. Goodyear did more work on my car and it was never right again. Since then I have gotton rid of the car because it did not feel safe to drive. Goodyear has been giving me the run around and does not stand behind the work they do."

  • Yeah, I agree with Jennifer. Seems like you have a claim but you need to support it with some proof that they were the cause of the problem. If more claims like yours post, it will help support your claim but short of that do you have a photo or second opinion on the cause of the damage? I dont mean to doubt your side, but if I were Goodyear, I'd want some proof before reimbursing you, esp since you sold the car. That said, its a good warning to other with similar problems. thanks hope you have better year if not a goodyear!

  • You stated in your claim that you wish that Goodyear would remove charges. Unfortunately, I think some more information may be useful here. Are you asking for a reimbursement or refund of the work done to your car that wasn’t satisfactory? If you have all of your invoices for the work done, perhaps writing a letter to the corporate office may help you in your situation. Include copies of the invoices, and let them know you have since gotten rid of the car due to the issues associated with it. Perhaps the corporate offices can be of more service in this situation.
