Claimant says:
"I had water damage to my home. Servo Pro with charlie the owner of that franchise in orange county (213-422-1403) came in to help me dry out the home. I was unhappy with how much my insurance company was willing to pay for the repairs of the kitchen. Charlie referred me to a private adjuster who recommended a man named Gilbert Finley to help work with the insurance company. He said he was the best and I should use him. Gilbert Finley came out and told me he was associated with Home Depot and he would help get me more money from the insurance company. Gilbert immediately had me pay him a retainer of $3000. He then left my home, and come in one time to fix a busted pipe. That worked well. After that I was able to contact him but he never did anything with my insurance claim. I asked Mercury, my insurance company if they ever heard of him and they said he has never contacted us. I asked him about that and he yelled at me and said he had been doing a lot of work and had a lot of notes. I asked if I could have a copy of the work he had done, he said no. I had a witness to this conversation, David Pufahl who can testify to this conversation. Gilbert Finley promised me at the end of September he would have the insurance company pay me up to $22,000. It is the end of September and I asked Mercury if they every heard from him. Mercury has never heard from Gilbert Finley. I asked Serve Pro about this man and they acted like they had no idea he was fraudulent. Gilbert Finley's contact info is 951-283-7554, office 951-696-2782, toll free 855-366-2782.
