    Dear People Claim,
    We acknowledge receipt of your letter, concerning the above referenced company.
    Thank you for giving us the opportunity to resolve this matter with our client.
    As we are all aware in today’s vast and complex market, every business generates a complaint regarding a product and/or service that has been purchased. In return we express our interest and cooperation along with our extended efforts in resolving these matters.
    Our records indicate that our above mentioned client Bonzelet William G Md was not fully satisfied with our service. We also understand that our client neglected or simply did not apply all the optimization tools and features they’ve purchased for their service which had been already provided to them.
    Our records also indicate that we have previously tried addressing this matter with Office Manager, outlining the issue at hand with possible solutions and remedies which had been suggested to her. And we agreed to settle this claim for $439.95 which she had settled, now I don’t see why client wanted to file complaint against us, client clearly understood the terms they were in and realize they had made mistake in not cancelling the business listing within 30 days trail period.
    Respecting the clients consensual verbal recorded agreement, between client
    (Office Manager) and Local Online Yellow book (LOYB) our records show the following;

    Client (Office Manager) at Bonzelet William G Md place of business had authorized the service on behalf of the business location. She clearly understood that this was based on a 30 day trial for which there will be a charge of $549.95 annually after the 30 days trial period.

    In addition to all previous communications we had also mailed out a letter, prior to the end of the 30 day trial period. This letter was a written reminder to her and the company, regarding this service.
    We did not get any response back from the client within the 30 day period. We cannot send every letter by registered mail since every business understands when you are offering something for free on trial it’s not wise to send letters by registered mail, this is why like millions other business’s we use same method regular mail.

    If client didn’t receive their letter that’s not our fault they should blame that on USPS, or they did get the mail but thought its junk and just disregarded it either case they were still given the customer services number in the verbal agreement which we have, they should have called us within 30 days like some business’s do and we would had cancelled this at that time.

    As defined in our Terms and Conditions on the (LOYB) website, and as printed on the back side of the above mentioned letter, including as per the verbal recording, the business listing was renewed under the those terms.

    Finally, the client had forgotten or just simply did not call us back to notify of any changes pertaining to their account. This is clearly something we cannot control or manage.

    As far as we are concerned services have been rendered. And client should withdraw the complaint since there is no ground here, and we cannot change the way we do business, since many other business’s use the same method simply because of the competition. We follow very strict guide lines and rules making sure we never mislead any clients if we did we would have hundreds of complaints which we do not you can refer to BBB file on us you will see we only have less than 6 complaints in past years we are in business.

    We thank you and appreciate your concern, we look forward to your reply, for further questions or concerns..

    Regards,

    Your sincerely,

  • This company is a scam and now I've been hit. They reached my receptionist last week to verify our name and address. Now we have an invoice stating since we are cancelling we owe for our ad last year. I asked for a written agreement and an approved ad copy. Per the receptionist "the specific dept" that handles that is Janet John. Janet John states that she can't produce a written contract it's all verbal and again we didn't cancel in the 30 days. Janet John doesn't know how long it will take to provide this proof and told me I was unreasonable. I have filed a complaint with the BBB where they are listed with a D rating and 33 complaints currently.

  • Our company was contacted in March 2011 and received a late payment fax in July 2011. We were assured that we would get a call back within the 30 day free trial to see if we wanted to keep the service. We also never received anything in the mail. I'm sorry to hear that you paid them. We refuse to pay and have sent a complaint to them, the BBB, FTC and CA Dept of Consumer Affairs. Good luck with your pursuit of a refund. I am trying to lodge complaints everywhere to put this to an end. In my opinion, it is a scam.
