Claimant says:
"July 1, 2013 thru October 31, 2013. I was insured with Excellus Bluecross Blueshield. At a cost of $404.00 a month. That a total of $1616.00 for four months.
I started out going to a Chiropractor. Once, twice a week for four months. Insurance started to pay the chiropractor, than asked the chiropractor for the fee that they paid back. Excellus than sent me a letter stating that they were not going to pay the chiropractic due to the fact that I had gone to the chiropractic back in March of 2013. They said that this was a pre-existing condition. I explained & so did the chiropractor that the back covered a large area, and it was not the same area. I also explained if they were not going to pay, I would have not got coverage with them or continued to pay for that coverage. I file a Grievance with Excellus Bluecross Blueshield explaining that if this was a pre-existing condition, than why did I only see the chiropractor once in March and not again till July! Where I had to see him sometime twice a week for four months. I would like a full refund of the $1616.00 that I paid."
