Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I ordered a tablet from Freebird, thru Tiger Direct online around November 10th of 2012.
I used my tracking # RA684597414CN,to check on the status of my order.
The most recent status update (11-23-2012) said it was being processed thru Freebird and was being sent to the USA. When I was not getting anymore updates I called first, Tiger Direct,(#800-800-8300) they told me I needed to contact Freebird (#888-529-0022). I called Freebird and was told they could do nothing because it was sent to the USA and was out of their hands. I then contacted USPS (800-275-8777) they checked on the tracking # I gave them and said it was not in the USA and was still in China. Then I tried to contact Freebird once again and when I selected customer service it then kept hanging up on me.
I contacted someone at the BBB yesterday 12-11-12 and was told to make a formal complaint via this online site. Please help me to get my money refunded. I no longer want the tablet. My cost was almost $200.00 and I am on disability this was a high cost Christmas gift and I really need to have my money refunded...thank you,and you can email me or contact me by phone at 618-623-1857.   • I posted a claim against Freebird about the tablet I ordered and had not yet received after a month,I have since received a tablet which for 1) is not the tablet that I purchased and 2)does not even work properly,what they sent to me is a piece of junk,I want my money back including the costs for placing this claim,how do I go about returning the tablet to get the best and quickest results possible...help please,Donna M. Fogg

  • Unfortunately there seems to be several similar complaints about this company on the internet. After researching this company, and seeing that you just received the tablet recently, you should immediately contact them for a refund. They state on the website that they have a 14 day return policy, and time is of the essence to attempt to get a refund on the product. The product, according to their website, must be returned in the original packaging, and you need to pay return shipping.
