Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Hired to be moved from Va to Ct. Owner of co stated I would not be charged for extra boxes since they were 5 days late from original move date. She reneged on that when movers finally showed up to start packing @ 10:30 pm on 4th day late had to return on 5th day to finish since movers were falling down stairs and dropping my furniture to get some rest. They put my new mattress and box spring in plastic bag especially for that. When arrived 3days later they would not unload truck until extra boxes now being charged double for were paid in full . I did in cash to get my belongings. After unpacking next day found mattress soaking wet in the plastic bag on truck for 3days wet. 4 pieces of furniture damaged and 4 boxes missing and 3 boxes of some one elses belongings. I have contacted co 5x,s in last 30 days. 1st told a form sent by email for me to fill out to list missing and damaged items. Did not recieve. Next conversation was to owner explaining each box was in them. She stated she would try to track down and return a call-no such call. I placed another call asking what is being done, they would send me another form to fill out. Been 18 days, no forms or calls from co.
I want my belongings returned and my mattress replaced which is 16mon new cost of $18000.00. $500.00 it will cost to have damaged furniture fixed. Also to return the 3boxes of someone elses belongings co. left here.This company has offered nothing, no apology, courtesy, assistance, only lies and total disregard for what they have put me through over last 2 1/2 months."

  • This company has a history of contracting for one amount and then telling the customer that they went over and charging them an exorbitant amount of money, in cash, to get their belongings back. This company needs to be put out of business. The president of the company is listed as Teneequa Butler, 4613 North University Drive, 601, Coral Springs, FL 33067. Contact local news media and have them investigate. Take them to court with your claim and print outs of all the other complaints you can find. Make a claim with the better business bureau (you can do this online). The internet is full of similar complaints with this company.
