Claimant says:
"Eastsideclinaclelabs technician went too deep in taking a blood draw for medical test
Resulting in hitting a nerve and numbing right arm and fingers. They suggested to have problem looked at by "walk in Center" Doctor . Admitting checked with East Side Labs and Confirmed they would pay for Doctor. Now I receive letter from East Side Labs stating they will not pay unless I sign a release from all responsibility. This is a form of extortion and leaves me a Senior citizen and victim "holding the Bag".

This a brief summary and I have detail documentation to support this "complaint"

  • In addition to the advice already given, you can also contact the Division of Elderly Affairs, through the Department of Human Services. They are legal services and consultations available through this department, that can potentially help you in your situation.

  • I would suggest you contact an attorney that handels medical malpractice and filing a complaint with the Attorney General. Providing copies of the documents you have proving the facts and any other documentation supporting your claims. I would also suggest you write a letter to the establishment after you have contacted an attorney expressing your concerns, reasons for writing to them, and what you want to have them do as far as covering the medical expenses incurred and any compensation you want due to their negligence in the matter. Include any and all names of person(s) involved, dates you were treated and why you were treated at their establishment. First and formost, contact an attorney to find out what your rights are and what your options are. Most attorney will be happy to give a free consultation and provide you with information.
