Statement of Claim
"On 3/15/18 I called Eagle Plumbing to come to my home and fix a leaky pipe under my kitchen sink. On 3/6/18 A man named Dwight was sent to my home to the leak under the sink. I paid my visa and got a reciept for 260.00 .The repair that I paid 260.00 for leaked again on 3/18/18. I called him on his private number thinking I did not want him to get in trouble however, when he did not return the next day as promised, I called him he said could he please come he said if he had time that evening to fix the leak he would come and asked me to call him and remind him. He left his number to circumvent his company to do work on the side. At this point I did not trust him and I asked the company to send another worker. They were very polite and assured me it would be fixed properly and would match the stainless steel basket to match the adjoining sink. The man showed up after 5 pm and he changed the basket strainer but it was smaller and rusty. The smaller basket was installed with plastic on metal and sure enough it leaked again. I called the company and again they promissed to fix it correctly. The next day a man named Daniel came after 5 pm again and agreed with me the part looked old rusty and was installed improperly and he would come back in a day or two to change the basket to match. He and another man came after 6 pm after making a 10 am appointment I waited in my house and at 5:30 they showed up stayed 5 minutes and said it's fixed! I told them the office promised me the defective rusty part would be changed. After arguing with the man they said they would change to mach . They said they would need to get the part at Lows . They did not go to lows because they were back in 5 minutes with a smaller part from there truck that did not match and was a cheaper version than the one on the other side. It was not stainless steal as promised. In fact they did not want to change anything even after Daniel told me before it was improperly installed with plastic on metal just the night before when he was alone. To add to my frustration the man named Daniel asked to use the restroom and of course i said yes. Little did I realize till after they were gone 200.00 was missing and I knew Daniel took it because he went through the bathroom from the kitchen to my bedroom. Both doors are accessible and my money was on the dresser where I could not see from my viewpoint. I know how much I had for I had counted it the evening before and did not leave the house because they were suppose to come at 10 am. When I reported the man the manager said the company can not be responsible for their men. When I asked for if the men were licensed plumbers they refused to show me. So now my credit card company says I must get a licensed plumber to say it is not matching when the company I used can not show me a license on either three men. I will not spend good money after bad so and I am leaving for holiday with my son who lives in Chicago on Friday after the closing on my house. I just wanted the BBB know about these charters so maybe I can save someone else from being ripped off.

    "Dear PeopleClaim,
    The work that was provided to Mr. Carr was given at industry standard rate, all work that was provided was documented in a written contract that he signed agreeing to. Mr. Carr was also provided with a warranty for the work performed, we've sent technicians out to address Mr. Carr's leak problem which was corrected, we also did other work under his sink at no charge. As far as the money missing situation, that's not true."
