Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"BriThis company Iheat located 790 w 20 st, #103 Hialeah fl 33010
Better Business Bureau

I purchased and had it shipped to me as i paid giving them a credit card; had it installed the American heat 24 kw tank less water heater and in less than a year it broke. Had the repair man from Drakken where I purchased the Heater from come and redo almost the whole equipment. In less than 6 months broken again. I did not have the receipt and the company Drakken usa would not honor even after they were the folks that sent the technician to my home for the repair. Be careful doing any business with this or any company that mails you the product, takes responsibility for the repair and dispatches their tech to fix and later while still in warrantee relinquishes responsibility because i could not provide last repair receipt. What company does not keep track of employee hours when and where they go. What products under warrantee they had to service, even track sales of expensive products as i purchased the heater that would work for a three shower home. I called the manufacturer of the product as these folks are distributors and the manufacturer simply told me i had to deal with the representative company that sold me the product.

I now have to go and purchase another equipment, obviously not from them and spend the money again, incredible these people are still in business, any other ideas who i can report them to?"

  • No resolution, do what needs to be done so no one else suffers from this company. Incredible a big company with such cheap practice in their customer satisfaction. their obligations, no good so will their failure grow as their reputation sinks!

  • Add yoCustomer was offered instant cash rebate for new product with new warranty, customer could never prove he had a proof of purchase. Customer was offered to bring product in to have it repaired. Customer has no proof at all of the purchase of this unit and his product was already out of warranty. We worked very hard to help him, but he expected much more than what he was entitled to. Customer then wanted us to offer him free home service we explained to him that was not possible as we are not a service contract company, and all what we could offer him was a subcontracted service technician to service his unit as his cost. The customer had the product repaired by the sub contracted service gentlemen and his water heater was repaired, at this point he was told that his unit was not installed properly and he needed to have it installed properly for the next time so that he would avoid this from happening again. He then called back with an issue 6-months later and demanded us to go out for free to replace his unit for a brand new unit, although him knowing that he was out of warranty. At this point the customer became irate unwilling to cooperate and just threatened us that he would place a claim online if we did not give him what he wanted. At this point even with the threats we still offered a cash back instant rebate for his old unit to put him in a new one as a courtesy, but he refused and again demanded all products and services to be rendered at no charge or he would place a claim online to destroy our reputation. ur information here

  • this equipment was home repaired months ago they have no record automatically pay their employees to go places and they have no idea unfortunately I lost that paper this equipment is relatively new and I've had many Mal functions including having to send me equipment to replace on some sensor and 2 of the 3 heat Lamentsall I ask is for them to fix an equipment they sold it has been faulty or having problems from the beginningthis equipment is expensive and $100 credit towards something else is not a solution because I will have to spend hundreds of dollars still to replace that one which by the way was the most expensive and their largest
