"Doors-US sold us a new door and installed a used one. They did it late in the evening and under the cover of a blue tarp so we did not notice until the next morning. They also did not have the hardware for our door so they gave us used hardware promising new hardware in a week. Furthermore they destroyed the interior wall of our house.

I took picture of all of this and sent them to Salvador Mattig who promised to make everything good. That was back on the 20th of January. It is now July 16th and we have been getting the runaround for six months. Mr. Mattig no longer returns my calls and I feel he has no intention of ever making good on his promises. Now that I have done a little research online I see that this is a common practice for him and whichever company he happens to be with at the time."

  • That is the same response I have received for the past 8 months with no action taken. I prefer to have the door I ordered. The current door is not the one we ordered.

    Mr. Mattig told me that they would come and fix this door while we wait on a new door that never arrived. Additionally, the interior walls that were made a mess of have never been addressed. There was a gentleman scheduled to come out and make the repairs but he refused to do the work until the door company paid him. He told us he was unable to reach anyone at the door company to confirm that he would be paid for his work and so he cancelled our appointment.

    The door is literally falling apart and the used hardware that was installed only works occasionally. This is not safe for my family so I have a problem with the timeline that has been offered. November 26th leaves them over 3 more months to address this. That is unacceptable. I have already been waiting since January.
