Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I joined Dish Cable Company approximately two + years ago. Account # 8255-9098-8417-4894. I had purchased all Samsung Television 55 Inch, Samsung 42 Inch and Samsung 32 inch for my home. My 55 inch went totally black about 7 or more months ago Volume but no picture. My 42 inch was on a Joey and the volume no longer works on the television. I can only get volume from connecting it to the stereo system. When you press the volume button the television states not available. I was upset because that was the second television that was ruined on the Dish Network system. I sent back the Joey to Dish thinking that the television would be workable again but the TV still states that the volume is unavailable. Dish sent me another Remote to use with the Joey but it still stated when hitting the volume button unavailable. I sent the Joey back. I still had the Hopper connected to the 32Inch. Now the 32inch television just randomly shuts down. I called the corporate office trying to get in touch corporate management and encountered xxxx very rude and disrespectful and my call could go any further. Samsung are quality televisions and their life span is more than 3 years but that is not what I have experienced with 3 televisions. I called and inquired if dish sends out refurbished equipment and they stated no. I contacted Technical support because I could not remove my Neflix account number from the Hopper. to send it back to Dish and close my account. The technical support stated that when they receive the equipment back they would blow it out with my account number and it would be removed . They stated that they make sure that the Hopper and Joeys would still work and then it would be put back in circulation. That is refurbished equipment when we become a customer we should receive totally new equipment. I knew at that moment that was what happened to my 3 televisions. I want my 2 TV's repaired by Dish. The 55 inch I can not get it repaired because is no longer in my possession it was trashed when it was given me an amount to expensive to be repaired. I am worried that the equipment that I had at my house would be sent out again for a new customer and they would have the same experience as me. I am supplying the I Hopper number so it won't be recycled back to a customer. The 2 Joey was sent back. One Joey almost a year ago and I did not think to record the serial numbers. I didn't even know that they would repair or replace customers electronics I was only told that about a month ago when I escalated my call to the corporate office. It was not told to me when my initial contact was made to Dish at the corporate level almost a year ago. I was told that just weeks ago after the fact. . R1894193495 Hopper # can't locate Joey numbers, my account number is attached so they can give you the Joeys numbers. I also feel that Tiffany needs sensitivity classes so she will be careful with communicating with future customers. The funny thing about Dish Network is that they want you to pay for their service for them to check their own equipment and they never want to responsibility to the fact that the equipment is recirculated. Ask them nicely to remove the equipment from their recirculation to other customer. I feel that Dish Network should not take advantage of their customer base. One bad apple does ruin the whole bunch."
