"There is no contract provided for signature, no recorded voice verification of agreement, no disclosure of terms and conditions over the phone - NOTHING that says I am not within my rights to cancel in the first 30 days. The only thing I have is a customer agreement that i received in the mail TODAY. The customer agreement has no reference to contract terms and/or cancelation other than to say i have to notify them of my desire to cancel and that if they change their terms and conditions and I do not accept them, i can cancel within a reasonable period."

  • 10-08-2010 — after giving it a fair try, we decide we dont like Direct TV, and call to cancel. this was when we were advised we would be charged a 460 cancellation fee.
