Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Tried them in Apr of 2011. Was not satisfied. They automatically charged our account in Apr 2012. Contacted them (Incident 120514-000858) to get them to credit our Visa card back. I have paperwork stating that "a refund in the amount of $42.38 was issued to the card used to make your original purchase". Also that it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles to show up. I called after that when Visa said they showed nothing from them. I again called Cyber Defender (aka DRI'MYCLEANPC) to be told that it was a "Charge Back" in the amount of $39.38 and that there is no paperwork for Visa to be able to see that they received it. Visa will not credit my account back because they have nothing to prove Cyber Defender issued them anything. I questioned the differance in the amounts and why not the full refund amount which I kept getting put on hold and never got a reason. I also questioned how they could do business without paperwork to prove they provided a refund and was told a "Charge Back" required no paperwork. I have been trying to resolve this since Apr 20th to no avail."

  • Since posting this all I have gotten is the run around!! Cyber Defender goes by 6 or more company names. All they say is a credit was issued therefore there is nothiung more they will do. Visa says the 90 days has passed so they will offer no help. (90 days is their policy). U S Bank says at no time has any credit been received and the account is open for them to post a credit to it at any time. Therefore, I have no way to resolve this issue as I have been making weekly contact to get the same answeres from differant people each week. I hope people will beware of this company and their several other companies so they DO NOT get taken as I did!
