Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On November 22, 2011 we purchased a 3 door refrigerator, model# RFG29PHDRS for $2,271.92. On or about January 23, 2012 we came in from working in the yard (PROBLEM 1) and water from the refrigerator had flooded the kitchen and the sun room. (PROBLEM 2) I called Conn's and a lady answered, I told her what was going on. Her reply was that they would send someone out next week. I tried to tell she didn't understand, the water was gushing out. She wasn't concerned. My husband is 68 and I have Parkinson's and we couldn't get the water off. We are new to Baton Rouge and didn't know who to call. Finally my husband was able to move the refrigerator and turn the water off. I feel as though the lady that answered the phone at Conn's could have been a little more helpful since she could tell I was in a panic. (PROBLEM # 3 ) Conn"s finally send # 1 repair man out, they didn't have the part, so we waited again. The # 2 repair man came but couldn't fix it he didn't have the parts. He order the parts and we waited an other week. He came today and-- THE PART WAS DEFECTIVE -- So we are still waiting. (PROBLEM # 4) My husband called Conn's this morning and asked for a manager to call him. It is 10.50 pm and no one has called. I would like my money back because I DON'T WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO DO WITH CONN'S If they won't do that, I would like a new refrigerator I am afraid this one is a lemon. I am sending a copy of this letter to Conn's Home Office and to Samsung Home Office"
