Claimant says:
"I recently received my monthly energy bill due for sept 10,2012 the amount of 235.43, I contacted a rep for Con Edison questioning my balance? I was told that Con Edison had a (lock out) I didn't understand? I asked the rep to better explain to me, he informed me that the company didn't allow their employees to work for the month of July... and because of that reason i'm being charged for two months July, Aug.. electricity charges for 59 days 376.13 minus 140.70 balance 235.43??? I asked to speak with a supervisor to no avail...I stongly disagree I feel I'm being ripped off last yr Aug 29 2011 I received a billing summary as of aug 18,2011 amount due 481.82 electricity charges for 29days? I was left with no other choice and called 311 the rep for 311 connected me with the NY State Public Commissioner, This seems to be an on going matter with Con Edison and I feel helpless and anxious of late payments that will be on my Con Ed record , I will be left with no choice and bring this matter to the media if this continues....I depend on the Better business Bureau to help me solve this matter please I appreciate and Thank You for taking the time in reviewing this matter"
