Claimant says:
"ON MARCH 5, 2013 THE ABOVE GREEN BAY AREA HEATING CONTRACTOR REPLACED THE EXHAUST INDUCER ON MY FURNACE AT MY PERSONAL HOME AT 2360 STROEBE ISLAND DR APPLETON AT A TOTAL COST OF $438.43.

UNFORTUNATELY, WHEN I HAD MY AIR CONDITIONER SERVICED IN MAY MY NEW HEATING AND COOLING CONTRACTOR NOTICED THAT THE AIR INDUCER ON THE FURNACE IS NOT THE CORRECT ONE FOR THAT MODEL OF FURNACE.

IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH THE PROPER MODEL BEFORE THE NEXT HEATING SEASON. IF THE PROPER INDUCER IS NOT INSTALLED BY THE NEXT HEATING SEASON, I COULD HAVE SERIOUS PERFORMANCE ISSUE COME THE HEATING SEASON.

THE OWNER REFUSES TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME ON THIS MATTER, EVEN AFTER A DEMAND LETTER WAS MAILED TO HIM SOME TIME AGO. ALSO A LETTER FROM MY ATTORNEY HAS NOT MADE HIM RESPOND.

TO COMMENCE A SMALL CLAIMS ACTION IN BROWN COUNTY WOULD COST ME IN EXCESS OF $400."

  • If that company installed the wrong part it should be replaced with the right one or refund him his money back.If they entered a binding contract that company could be held liable and court cost should be paid plus attorney fees. sometimes paying $400 just to show some one that they are not above the law is worth it, because some things are greater then the money itself.
