"In 1/08 Air Now hvac contractor of Bradenton, Fl., came to my home & installed all new attic hvac ducts for mold, I.D. by eyesight only, but forgot to place any type sealant on the distal parts of the ducts and the boxes to which the y attach above our ceiling grates resulting in new red ithcy rashes for my wife & I from our necks to our feet, classical for fiberglass imbedded in our skin, and new onset asthma, sinusitis, rhinitis of moderate to severe nature for me, which I still have. In early 1/8 Citizens inspector came said Citizens would not pay for the ducts, which we had paid the full bill, but did not remove ceiling grates in our home, therefore did not find no sealant had been placed. In 1/09 on a routine inspection, ProAir tech came, removed ceiling grates, found no sealant, and placed mastic sealant as my wife and I watched. Also in 2009 Pure Air Controls Forensic came found excess fiberglass by air sample in our home & mold from outside air sample not found in our home & they did total home and garage cleanup & remediation. Their cost & having to replace furniture, bedding, thick carpets, etc. left our total costs at 10's of 1000's bucks. Shortly after ProAir placed the mastic our rashes cleared with the normal slough of our skin epidermis, my above problems as above persist."
