Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On a visit to Cheddar's Restaurant in Smyrna, Tennesseeon February 14th, 2014.
Supervisors and district managers act as if it was not big deal that one of their employee made fun of tip by posting copy of the receipt to social media with my name, last 4 of credit card number, place of my employment and derogatory comments. It caused embarassment to family and friends, as well as waitress and waiters making the comments "we're not going to wait on you, you don't tip good enough" . Since work at sports store people come in point and whispering. The employee assumed the reason for small tip was because I didn't have a date on Valentine's day when I stopped in on my lunch break.
Been more sensitive and understanding to my hurt and embarassment. They were only looking out for their benefit by firing the employee and offering me a free dinner. Was not taking the matter serious at all. I feel a lot more should have been offered. Treated situation as simple mistake on order. I felt retailation from the fired employee and was lied to by 3 different people claiming to be the district managers. Vicky was very rude and left very nasty voice mail. Treated me like they were the victim instead of me
Never visit Cheddar's in Smryna, Tennessee the supervisors and district managers are horrible. Also called corporate office talked to Kendra once to explain and she never called me back even after calling numerous times and leaving messages.

  • Cheddars in Smyrna has lousy management and think because business is booming they can treat customers anyway. I would advise anyone to think twice before going there due to lack of respect. For those that don't understand probably wont until you have a problem and see how management treats you.
